FAQs

What makes LYT electrolytes different?

Each serving contains 5 grams of creatine monohydrate as well as clean sourced electrolytes. We use only real fruit extracts and essential minerals - no artificial sweeteners, colors or preservatives. Just clean, effective hydration.

What are the benefits of creatine?

Creatine is one of the most well-researched supplements and supports both physical performance and overall health.

Improves strength and power

Helps increase energy availability during short, high-intensity efforts like lifting, sprinting, and jumping.

Enhances muscle recovery

Supports faster recovery between sets and workouts, allowing for more consistent training.

Supports lean muscle growth

Helps muscles train harder over time, contributing to increased muscle mass when paired with resistance training.

Boosts cognitive and mental performance

May support focus, reaction time, and mental clarity—especially during fatigue or stress.

Aids hydration at the cellular level

Draws water into muscle cells, supporting muscle function and performance (this is not the same as bloating).

Safe and well-tolerated

Backed by decades of research showing it’s safe for long-term use in healthy individuals.

Are your products sugar-free?

Yes! We skip sugar and use natural fruit flavors for subtle sweetness without the crash or calories.

How should I use your electrolytes?

Add (1) scoop to 16oz of water and mix. Consume within 24 hours of mixing for optimal results.

Why is there residue in my cup?

Creatine does not dissolve well in water because its chemical structure causes the molecules to strongly attract each other and form a stable crystal lattice that water struggles to break apart. At normal pH, creatine exists as a zwitterion (with both positive and negative charges), which further increases these internal attractions while not making it highly water-friendly like salt or sugar. As a result, only a small amount can dissolve, especially in cold water. Warmer temperatures and slightly acidic liquids can improve solubility somewhat, but the overall effect is limited. Importantly, poor solubility does not reduce creatine’s effectiveness, since it dissolves and absorbs properly once it reaches the stomach.

We recommend shaking/stirring the last couple sips of Lyt Hydration to ensure the creatine is consumed.

Is creatine good for women?

Yes — creatine is safe and beneficial for women.

It can help improve strength, workout performance, muscle tone, and recovery without making you bulky. It may also support brain health and bone strength, especially as women age.

Most women do well with 3–5 grams of creatine monohydrate daily. It’s well-studied and safe for healthy adults. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have kidney issues, check with a doctor first.
